Nehemiah 7:5–65
5So my God put it into my heart to assemble the
nobles, the officials and the common people for registration by families. I
found the genealogical record of those who had been the first to return. This
is what I found written there:
6These are the people of the province who came up
from the captivity of the exiles whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had taken
captive (they returned to Jerusalem and Judah, each to his own town, 7in
company with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani,
Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum and Baanah):

Psalm
121
1A song of
ascents. I lift up my eyes to the hills-- where does my help come from? 2My
help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. 3He will
not let your foot slip-- he who watches over you will not slumber; 4indeed,
he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5The LORD
watches over you-- the LORD is your shade at your right hand; 6the
sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. 7The LORD will
keep you from all harm-- he will watch over your life; 8the LORD
will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
Revelation
2:8–11
8"To the angel of the church in Smyrna write:
These are the words
of him who is the First and the Last, who died and came to life again. 9I
know your afflictions and your poverty--yet you are rich! I know the slander of
those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. 10Do
not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put
some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten
days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of
life.
11He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says
to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death.
